With the number of international tourism numbers on the rise in New Zealand, we needed to account for the varying cultures and languages that would be using the website. Initial measures have been put in place, using an automatic language translator, for 7 different languages, with a second phase in progress. The latter will include unique language specific templates and content for both the Chinese and Taiwanese markets.
To further aid their international market, a visual search and filter tool was introduced to offer an interactive method to learn about, and choose the ideal Wanaka combo tour.
The website is naturally mobile friendly, allowing visitors on various device types to access the website with ease.
Through clear and constant communication with the Ultimate Wanaka team, we were able to create an easy to manage solution, that is a true representation of the 4 entities involved.
